In a non-smoker, Over 90% of the time, chronic cough is due to one or more of the following three conditions.

1) Post-nasal drainage
2) Cough Variant Asthma
3) Gastroesophageal Reflux (GERD)

Our allergists are uniquely equipped to evaluate and treat patients for the first two causes right here in the office.  GERD is more difficult to determine, and may involve either a therapeutic trial of medications, or more specialized evaluation by a gastroenterologist.
